I cant believe CCP have introduced another currency when ISK would of been fine!
Not only that but the first batch of content released for Incarna is behind a ******* paywall!!!
Jesus, do they understand that a game thrives on content! Now when WIS is finally released in 2020 everyone will look the same because no-one will use real money to buy other content.
This is a stupid idea and to protest i've just cancelled an alt account forever!
I will NOT be paying RL money for stuff my subscription should cover!!! This is CCP's NGE!

Originally by: Mother Fokker Torfi said that we would be able ourself to produce vanity items and furniture and stuff for our bars. WE not THEM. Now i come and ask......
Will the bars the rent for upkeep, the furniture the liquor and dancers etc be sold via aurum as well? Because if you do this will go more and more in to the Second Life sphere of gamplay.
This is OUR sandbox and the Sand has been paid for. Dont Shιt in it pls, I am sceptical.
This tbh! WTF aren't we just given tools to make our own content and be able to sell it for ISK on the market like other MMO's? This was the idea presented to us at fanfest!!!! No, CCP would rather make the content and charge real money for it!!! Pathetic!!

Originally by: Anddeh McNab If the EVE community was given the tools to create items all that would be created would be skimpy outfits for females and giant *****es.
That's bull**** because everything would be crafted from blueprints or 'patterns', etc.

Originally by: Versuvius Marii I guarantee all that read this: this will be the first "development" in years that CCP will actually spend time on with a constant influx of "improvements". They won't leave this bad boy alone, I assure you.
This is going to be a big problem! Nothing will start to matter apart from the micro-transactions! you watch!
Originally by: Sister Megarea I have had 2 accounts since September of 2009 and three since June of 2010; At ~$14 / month, that's $406 I've paid to CCP (plus the map books and the two novels, which I sincerely enjoyed) - And I'm just a small time player - Some of your customers have had three or more accounts for years longer.
QFT! I dread to think how much i've paid CCP since 2005, multiple accounts, EON, stuff from EVE Store and now they want more for in-game content which should be part of an expansion!!!! I thought CCP prided itself on 'free' expansions? even though they are actually paid for by us!
I am so ****** off with CCP right now! I mean come on, Aurum?!?!?!!? two currencies in my wallet?!!?!?!?! WTF! WHATS WRONG WITH PLAYER CREATED CONTENT AND ******* ISK!!!

Originally by: Sister Megarea Though frankly, clothing for Aurum is stupid. It's a common-sense manufacturable item that players should be able to make, which you're breaking the immersion by only allowing the magical space fairies to supply to the market..
Exactly!
Originally by: CCP Zinfandel Let me use an example. CCP released a new ship BPO not that long ago: the Noctis. You needed in game money to participate. You could get that in game money from either buying a PLEX or earning money in game. It would be unfair to describe this as releasing new content behind a pay wall.
If CCP releases pair of leather boots, and you need in game money to participate, you could get that in game money from either buying a PLEX or earning money in game. I believe it is likewise unfair to describe this as releasing new content behind a pay wall.
TOTAL FAIL AT UNDERSTANDING OWN GAME!!!!
Those leather boots have to come from originally using real money!!! The Noctis blueprint DOES NOT!
There is currently nothing in EVE at the minute that REQUIRES real money to originally be seeded into the economy!

Originally by: CCP Zinfandel We aren't just starting this whole thing today. Rather, there are large piles of PLEX and ISK already in the game. The "pay real cash" part you are describing happened long ago.
That is different! 1 PLEX = 1 subscription and someone, somewhere along the line had to pay real money for that subscription. Everyone needs a subscription to actually participate in the game.
Originally by: CCP Zinfandel We would like to offer some items for sale to tempt some of those sitting on piles of cash to spend them.
Notice the word cash was used rather than ISK!

Zinfandel, your arguments are very thin!

Originally by: Lev Aeris Come on, do you really think CCP has the integrity to come out and tell us that they are spending all their money on developing WoD? The second Whitewolf got involved Eve online began to die. CCP easily spends more resources on marketing than they do on maintaining their product. They are charlatans and have been as much for near 3 years now. Notice how they never actually use logic in their replies, but instead side step every major issue ever brought up?
This is full of truth!!! Why the f**k isn't old stuff polished (like the UI, FW, Lowsec, SC, Effects, Bounties, etc, etc...) before adding new s**t like RMT Aurum?!?!??!!
5 Years after the announcement of Incarna and we get this s**t! It beggers belief!
Originally by: Aragoni The thought of having micro-transactions in a subscription-based game is just horrible. -_-
Agreed i Actually feel sick!!

Originally by: Olivia Berett The future of this can be foreseen by analising SL history. People create content, they are paid in SL currency. There is no IRL involved, there is no formal liability unless to the "game" developers. So they are entitled to the work legally.
First thing is, you can use your work outside EVE, which can lead to a problem sometimes, but not an issue most of the time.
Second thing, and that is something SL users and developers know well. Content can be created, no problem at this point. Initially deemed worth and legal. Then some time later, when there are copies of that all around, it happens to have some legal issue. The circus is formed.
If they hire or otherwise contract art designers to do so, they get rid of most of the problems by paying and registering content. An inconvenience is the cost, which is the main reason they need to be primarely bought with real money.
You miss the point that all crafted items come from blueprints. So no illegal stuff would ever be created.

Originally by: Flesh Slurper Very disappointing. So we already pay you a fee per month for this game and its features, and now you want us to pay you again on top of that.
Not to mention that clothes will cost more than a whole ship. If an article of clothing costs more isk than even an executioner it will be laughable at best.
And for those who think that it will give more $ to develop the things in eve we have been wanting think again. The $ will only fund devs to make more of this utter crap instead of fixing / adding core features to the game. Why should they update and add things for "free" when they can **** you for more cash by making clothes with their time. This is already evident with the last updates. Nerf this, screw that, bunch of updates with little thought or effort put into them, while their devs are spending time proudly making clothes to sell.
If they really wanted to make clothes a great system, they would make a way to manufacture them with patterns, PI textiles, dyes, etc. The same with painting your ship - paints could be manufactured, industrialists could paint ships, etc. Instead were left with disappointment.
This is so true!

Shirts are going to cost more than battleships!
Content should be created by PLAYERS from blueprints and sold for ISK!!!
I never thought i would see the day when a CASH shop was put into EVE!
I am thoroughly fed up with CCP ignoring players who are asking them to address the current issues with the game only to be force fed yet something else they don't want.
I am no longer going to continue to fund CCP for **** like this. I have just cancelled all my accounts and i urge people who feel the same to do likewise. This is the only way we will get CCP to listen!
